Welke boetes riskeert u voor een verlopen autokeuring (ITP) in Roemenië

De Periodieke Technische Inspectie (ITP) is verplicht voor alle voertuigen die in Roemenië zijn geregistreerd.
Vanaf 1 juli 2026, met de stijging van het brutominimumloon naar 4.325 RON, stijgt de officiële waarde van het boetepunt naar 216,25 RON. Bij een controle legt de politie twee gelijktijdige sancties van Klasse IV op (elk 9 tot 20 boetepunten):
- Boete voor rijden zonder geldige keuring: tussen 1.946,25 RON en 4.325,00 RON (ca. 389 - 865 Euro).
- Boete voor rijden met geschorst kenteken: tussen 1.946,25 RON en 4.325,00 RON (ca. 389 - 865 Euro).
De maximale cumulatieve boete bereikt een recordhoogte van 8.650,00 RON (ca. 1.730 Euro).
